Thoughtful and professional matchmaking for relationship-minded singles doesn't need to be expensive. We do pay-per-intro matching, where you pay one simple fee when both people want to meet. Beyond a $195 video call to get to know you, there is no upfront cost. Pricing is published, transparent, and the same for everyone.
DateSpot is also the place where you can get in front of many vetted matchmaking companies at once (100+ and counting). Through our strong relationships, we can leverage their databases as well by asking who they may have. We incentivize them with a portion of your match fee - resulting in matches that would typically cost multiple times more if you were a client of theirs directly.

How We Match Members
We are extremely thoughtful about how we match individuals, combining analytics, tech and intuition. We collect a lot of data about members (without tiring them out) to efficiently identify compatibility.
We believe that your match is within 15 years of your age, and typically use that as a default maximum. We also believe that your match should balance you in personality and energy.
Here is some more of what we take into account:
- Personal TraitsWe have filters for attributes like intellectually curious, athletic, social, adventurous, driven, happy, family-oriented, humble, generous, and more.
- EducationSimilar levels are common with married couples, but we listen to how important it is to you.
- Drinking habitsWe don’t allow you to say that you drink “socially”, which is too general. We break it down into five dimensions.
- Drug habitsFrequency of drug use and what you’re open to in a partner, broken down even by type of drug as that can matter to people.
- Smoking habitsCigarette use is often a dealbreaker, so knowing this is crucial.
- Fitness levelHow frequently someone works out helps determine whether lifestyles align.
- PetsPets are a part of one's family and could be a major issue.
- Eating habitsWe ask how health-conscious you are and if you have any special eating habits.
- WorldviewHow optimistic vs. realistic people are matter in life.
- ValuesWhat do you prioritize in your life - independence, family time, ambition, etc.
- InterestsThere should be overlap in what you like to do. We can filter for hobbies you love to find activity partners.
- Religious viewsWhat does someone identify with spiritually, how much do they practice, and how important is alignment in a partner?
- Political affiliationWhat does someone identify with politically, and how important is alignment?

For $195, meet with a DateSpot matchmaker (the Founder or Director of Matchmaking) over a 45 minute video call.
The call is required to be a Client as we need to personally know who we're searching for.
If you just want to be a Candidate, the call is optional. It's still helpful to get to know you so we can personally get to know you, clarify your partner search, review photos, answer any questions, and make the best matches.
The call is also beneficial if you're deciding which route you want to do. Once you book a call, a proactive review of options with current clients is included.
